THE BRIEF
A Great status and vast expansions in the Saudi era, Prophet's Mosque is one of the world’s largest mosques in the world. The Mosque underwent several expansions throughout its history, the largest expansion of all time in the Prophet’s Mosque took place during the reign of the late King Abdullah. We were very excited and honored to be part of this huge project, our scope included design and architectural visualization for the project.
ABOUT PROJECT
Al-Masjid an-Nabawi- 'The Prophet's Mosque'
This Project presents a new design for the area adjacent to the mosque featuring the geometric designs in Islamic art with combinations of repeated squares, overlapped and interlaced with greenery in the elevation, as in the arabesques to form intricate and complex patterns in the building facades. These variety of tessellations infused with the modern buildings finishes reflects the spiritual and sacred feel of the Mosque space.
